Terms and Conditions For Job Seeker


India Jobs Online is a job portal that works as a mediator between the hiring employers and job seeking candidates for the exchange of information regarding the job vacancies and other career enhancements services.

Understanding your rights and responsibilities as our registered user is of utmost priority and should be given due importance. So before using our services, you must accept all our Terms and Conditions and register yourself to enter into the contract.

Similarly, visitors to our website who opt not to register with us as member states that they are also bound by these Terms and Conditions each time they access our website and if they do not accept the terms and conditions laid by the company, please abstain from using our services.

Hence, on the violation of below mentioned Terms and Conditions, users may get suspended or terminated from their access to our services and may even get their membership cancelled.


  1. Profile that shows any relation to political or illegal material will not be allowed to render our services. 
  2. We assure you that we will take all the necessary precautions to keep your details secure but will not be responsible for unauthorized access to the information provided by any party whatsoever may be the reason and if the information doesn’t stand true then we will not support it either.
  3. The users agree that the information provided by them be it their email address or their contact details are valid and up to date while using our services. 
  4. All our users acknowledge that they do not imitate to be someone else and agree to not use any false name that they have no authority to use.
  5. Our company cannot be held responsible if there is any form of loss or damage incurred by the user through the use of our services. Example, loss of data or information or any kind of financial or physical loss.
  6. Our Privacy Policy is also a part of these Terms and Conditions, and by agreeing to these, you give your consent to the manner in which we may use your personal information as detailed in that policy.
  7. The company holds the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any given point of time as per their requirement.
  8. These Terms will be subject to Indian Law and the jurisdiction of Indian Courts.
  9. Job seekers’ resume will not be misused and sent anywhere else without their consent.
  10. As a company, we try to keep up with the precautionary measures all the time but if the ID and Password is shared by you to someone else and there is a loss of data, we will not be accountable for the same.
  11. Job seekers can enrol for free on the website but before applying to any of the desired job positions, they will have to make a payment of ₹ 1000 (non- refundable) which will be saved in the applicant's wallet on our portal itself and every time the applicant wants to apply for any job, ₹ 50 will be deducted from the same. So in total, the applicant will be able to apply for 20 jobs with their payment deposited on our portal and the same amount will be charged once their wallet becomes empty; ₹ 1000 and this amount shall only be charged until the job seeker is recruited for any job.
  12. You must be above 18 years of age to use our website for any kind of services. By visiting India Jobs Online and accepting to these Terms and Conditions, you represent and warrant to the Company that you are 18 years of age or older, and that you have the right, authority and capacity to use the website and abide by these Terms of Use. You also represent that you will use our portal in a manner that is in accordance to the laws.
  13. India Jobs Online authorizes you, to access and use the website and its content (as defined below) and allows you to download and print a single copy of the content available from the portal for your personal, non-commercial use. The content of India Jobs Online and other website’s clearly comes under the company’s control whether partial or otherwise as they are collectively referred to as the India Jobs Sites such as designs, text, graphics, images, video, information, logos, button icons, software, audio files and others. All our content is reserved by us and the compilation of all the content that appears on the website is the exclusive property of India Jobs Online only and is protected by Indian and International copyright, trademark, and other laws.
  14. Unauthorized use of the India Jobs Online content may violate these laws and is strictly prohibited. You must preserve all copyright, trademarks, service mark and other proprietary notices contained in the original India Jobs Online content on any authorized copy you make of the our content.
  15. You cannot sell or modify our content or reproduce, display, publicly perform, distribute our website’s content in any way for any public or commercial purpose, in connection with products or services that are not those of India Jobs Online, in any other manner that is likely to cause confusion among consumers or that otherwise infringes India Jobs Online intellectual property rights.
  16. Any code that we create to generate or display any of our content or the pages making up our website is also protected by India Jobs Online copyright and you will not be able to adapt it.
  17. Also, you may not use any of our content on any other website or in a networked computer environment, including, without limitation, by uploading or republishing our content on any Internet, Intranet or Extranet site or incorporating the our content in any other database or compilation for any purpose.
  18. You may not use any data that will infringe the copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of others or violate the privacy, publicity or other personal details.
  19. The job posting, resume database and other features of our portal may be used only by individuals seeking employment or for the purpose of career enhancement.
  20. In addition, our services may be used by individuals for permitted professional and personal networking purposes and your use of site is also subject to any other contracts you may have with India Jobs Online.
  21. In the case of any conflict between these Terms and any contract you have with us, the terms of your contract will prevail.


Users are also prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of our website, including, but not restricting to these activities:

  1. accessing data not intended for such user or logging into a server or account which the user is not authorized to access;
  2. attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization;
  3. attempting to interfere with service to any user, host or network, including, without limitation, via means of submitting a virus to our website, overloading, "flooding", "spamming", "mail bombing" or "crashing"; or
  4. Forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any e-mail or newsgroup posting. *Violation of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability. The Company will investigate occurrences which may involve such violations and may involve and cooperate with, law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users who are involved in such activities.


Terms for Registration:


  1. When you register on our portal, you will be asked to provide the Company with certain information like a valid email address. In addition to the Terms and Conditions and any Privacy Policy applicable to our website, you understand and agree that the company may disclose it to third parties, on an anonymous basis, certain aggregate information contained in your registration application.
  2. The company will not disclose to any third party your name, address, e-mail address or telephone number without your prior consent, except to the extent necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable laws or in legal proceedings where such information is relevant. 
  3. The Company reserves the right to offer third party services and products to you based on the preferences that you identify in your registration and at any time thereafter; such offers may be made by the company or by third parties. *Please refer to our company's Privacy Statement for further details regarding your Information.
  4. India Jobs Online does not provide or make any representation as to the quality or nature of any of the third party products or services purchased through our website. Any such undertaking, representation, warranty or guaranty would be furnished solely by the provider of the applicable class, or learning material, product or service, under the terms agreed to by the provider. 


The Company specifically prohibits any other use of India Jobs Online and all the jobseekers agree not to do any of the following:  

  1. Transmit, post, distribute, store or destroy material, including but not limited to laws or regulations governing the collection, processing, or transfer of personal information, or in breach of India Jobs Online Privacy Policy;
  2. Post any resume or apply for any job on behalf of another candidate;
  3. Defer any contact from an employer to any agent, agency, or other third party;
  4. Set more than one copy of the same resume to public at any one time;
  5. Solicit passwords or personally identifiable information from other users;
  6. Any other usage of resume database apart from seeking job will not be allowed;
  7. Post or submit any incomplete, false or inaccurate biographical information which is not your own;
  8. Use our job portal for any unlawful and illegal activity, that is defamatory or explicitly offensive, vulgar, obscene, threatening, abusive, hateful, racist, discriminatory, of a menacing character or likely to cause annoyance, inconvenience, embarrassment, anxiety or could cause harassment to any person or include any links to pornographic, indecent or sexually explicit material of any kind, as determined by India Jobs Online discretion.


“Visitors turned members who do not abide by the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, may get suspended or terminated from using our services and also, we will not be held accountable for any such activities that don’t come under our Terms and conditions. Additionally, we have the right to determine whether we want to initiate appropriate proceedings against the offending users as per laws or not.”

"Prohibited Content" is Content that: (i) Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or any illegal activity, or post or submit any content, resume, or job posting that is defamatory, libelous, implicitly or explicitly offensive, vulgar, obscene, threatening, abusive, hateful, racist, discriminatory, of a menacing character or likely to cause annoyance, inconvenience, embarrassment, anxiety or could cause harassment to any person or include any links to pornographic, indecent or sexually explicit material of any kind, as determined by Reed IndiaTimes Network’s discretion; (ii) Post jobs or content on any Site that contain any hyperlinks, email addresses, HTML Tags, "hidden" keywords or any keywords that are irrelevant to the job or are otherwise misleading contained in a job posting are prohibited; (iii) Post any jobs on any Site for any competitor of or posting jobs or other content that contains links to any site competitive with; (iv) is  false or misleading or promotes, endorses or furthers illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libellous; (v) promotes, copies, performs or distributes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's work that is protected by copyright or trade secret law, such as providing pirated computer programs or links to them, providing information to circumvent manufacturer-installed copy-protection devices, or providing pirated music, videos, or movies, or links to such pirated music, videos, or movies; (vi) is involved in the exploitation of persons under the age of eighteen  in a sexual or violent manner, or solicits personal information from anyone under eighteen ; (vii) Use any Site Resume Database for any purpose other than as an employer seeking employees, including but not limited to using the information in the Resume Database to sell or promote any products or services (viii) solicits passwords or personally identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other Users; (ix) except as expressly approved by us, involves commercial activities and/or promotions such as contests, sweepstakes, barter, advertising, or pyramid schemes; (x) Send unsolicited mail or e-mail, making unsolicited phone calls or send unsolicited faxes regarding promotions and/or advertising of products or services to a user of any Site or ; (xi) posts or distributes information which would violate any confidentiality, non-disclosure or other contractual restrictions or rights of any third party, including any current or former employers or potential employers, or (xii) otherwise violates the terms of this Agreement or creates liability for us.


5. User Content and Submissions

You represent and warrant that: (a) you own the Content posted by you on the Service or otherwise have the right to grant the license set forth in this Agreement, (b) your Content does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright rights, or other rights of any person, (c) by providing or posting your Content, you do not violate any confidentiality, non-disclosure, or contractual obligations you might have towards a third party, including your current or former employer or any potential employer, (d) any information you provide in a Job posting, advertisements is correct, and (e) any information you provide about your current, past or potential status as an user is correct and complete. Please make sure that you only provide information to the Services that you are allowed to provide without violating any obligations you might have towards a third party, including any confidentiality, non-disclosure or contractual obligations. Please do not provide any information that you are not allowed to share with others, including by contract or law; please note that any information you provide will be accessible by to employers to ensure that you will get more job opportunities but the ownership of the content will stays with you.

Terms for Job Seekers: 

Jobseekers have the capability to connect with other job seekers on website through their respective Accounts. This connect can happen only among seekers who have some common background like being colleagues at a company, college alumni, through their connect on email/social networks, or through their common connections on the Professional network. Job Seekers can use their profile in Account for their Professional Network. Job Seekers may limit their profile access & visibility on the Professional network at their discretion. They can also control the flow of social activities related information to their contact IDs using their account settings. 

Job Seekers shall use the Professional Networking environment only for the purpose of career related information; opportunities and dissemination of information thereof through the network and shall not use Professional Networking for promotion of any sales, marketing, collecting / gathering of details of the users for the purpose or other activity, which is not permitted under these terms and Terms of use & Privacy of the website.

As a jobseeker, you understand and acknowledge that if you cancel your account or your FutureIndeed account is terminated, all your information in the Professional network, will be marked as deleted in and may be deleted from's databases and will be removed from any public area of the FutureIndeed Sites. Information may continue to be available for some period of time because of delays in propagating such deletion through FutureIndeed’s web servers. However, your connections and third parties may retain saved copies of Your Information. 



Terms for Recruiters: 

Recruiters associated with’s paid Clients, Customers/ Employers can create their Individual recruiter profile on website, which shall be registered by at its sole discretion. These recruiters will function as authorized users of their company’s account(s). They can use their profile to manage their company’s profile, post jobs, do database searches and perform other recruitment related activities for their company. They can have a direct connect with the jobseekers, who can follow them to know about their activities.

Such authorized recruiters shall be solely responsible for managing Professional Networking profile and will not be able to represent the same account as soon as their engagement terminates with their respective Company. However, such recruiter’s Professional Networking profile will be there on FutureIndeed’s Professional Network containing the basic information of such recruiters along with the followers, which can be used by the recruiter for any other Employer on association with the other Employer. Reed IndiaTimes Network reserves the right to delete or remove of any such individual authorized recruiters without notice if it comes to  knowledge or if it is otherwise notified to that it infringes and/or violates any third party’s Trade Mark, Copy right and / or any other intellectual property right and  Reed IndiaTimes Network may also terminate access to its Website permanently. 

Terms for Companies / Employers: 

FutureIndeed’s paid clients/customers who use the site for their recruitments related requirements, and who will now be able to leverage the network through their authorized recruiters. As part of Professional Networking , the company would be able to connect with a larger audience by having direct followers of their profile, and also through connections of their recruiters. Through their company profile, they will be able to showcase their company environment, policies & other important information, and engage jobseekers through Polls & Surveys.

They will have sole responsibility of authorizing & managing the recruiters associated with their profile at their own discretion. In the event any of the Employer recruiter’s, engagement terminates with the Employer, having’s Professional Networking representation for the Employer, it shall be the sole responsibility of the Employer to immediately notify Reed IndiaTimes Network about the termination of engagement with the said recruiter and appointment of a new recruiter. Employer shall ensure to keep informed changes / updates in their recruiters as and when any changes thereof from time to time. 

6. Reed IndiaTimes Network 's Liability 

The and other Reed IndiaTimes Network Sites act as, among other things, venues for

  1. employers to post job opportunities and search for and evaluate job candidates and

  2. Candidates to post resumes and Profiles and search for and evaluate job opportunities. does not screen or censor the listings, including Profiles offered. is not involved in the actual transaction between employers and candidates. As a result,  is not responsible for User Content, the quality, safety or legality of the jobs or resumes posted, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of employers to offer job opportunities to candidates or the ability of candidates to fill job openings and makes no representations about any jobs, resumes or User Content on . While Reed IndiaTimes Network reserves the right in its sole discretion to remove User Content, job postings, resumes or other material from the Reed IndiaTimes Network Sites from time to time, Reed IndiaTimes Network does not assume any obligation to do so and to the extent permitted by law, disclaims any liability for failing to take any such action.

Reed IndiaTimes Network does not provide or make any representation as to the quality or nature of any of the third party products or services purchased through Site, or any other representation, warranty or guaranty. Any such undertaking, representation, warranty or guaranty would be furnished solely by the provider of such third party products or services, under the terms agreed to by the provider.

Unless REED INDIATIMES NETWORK has terminated your Account, you can start a new membership by registering and providing new details about the account. We may terminate your membership for any or no reason at any time by ceasing to provide the Services to you. You understand that termination of this Agreement and the Account you have created with us may involve deletion of your Account information from our live databases. We will not have any liability whatsoever to you for any termination of your Account or related deletion of your information.
